Raiding Rules and Behaviors Empty

Raiding rules and behaviors.

Most of this is common knowledge to most members by now, but worth having it in writing.

1) Harassment and abusive behavior is not tolerated. period.
If you receive a warning it is just that, you will likely not receive a 2nd one. This includes but is not limited to racism, sexism, gay bashing, porno chat etc. We are all adults and with the exception of reign from hell this has been a non issue, but it's still the #1 rule.

2) Be on time for raids. Habitual lateness is a real pain for all involved.

3) Get Vent, you must be able to listen at least to raid

4) Update your Mods, KTM, CT Raid etc.

5) Check the forums regularly. I want to stress this one, it doesn't have to be every day but if you aren't reading the raid forum at least once or twice a week it's gonna be a problem.

6) Try to avoid excessive afk's on raids. The new trash respawns are unforgiving, so if possible try to hold afk's for scheduled breaks, or if unavoidable try to be speedy. Always try to announce before you leave and when you get back so the raid leader & puller are up to speed.

7) Follow directions of the raid leader, etc. If it's a healing/cleansing intensive fight you must do your role, even if for example you are a shadow priest. Same goes for DPS warriors tanking on occasion and vice versa.

8.) Pass on all boss loot, it is our custom to discuss and deal with loot after we all pass.

9) 10mans- After you win an item, you must pass on future items from that raid ID unless either no one wants the item or everyone has also already won an item. If the raid leader asks you to take an item you don't really want, or you take an item for an off-spec that would otherwise be DE'ed it doesn't count as your 1 item.

10) 25mans- DKP will be used.

11) BOP recipes. Go ahead and roll need on these, provided you have the skill to learn it.

12) BOE greens, blues, epics. Anyone on the raid may call need if it's an upgrade for their main (this is particularly likely with the green resist items), if no one wants greed among raid as normal. In the event 2 or more people want the item /random also as normal.

13) Tradeskill items, zone unique items, shards etc. all go to the UECbank. This includes soul essences, void crystals etc. The exception to this rule will be nether vortexes from serpentshrine as they are BOP. They will be distributed using DKP.

14) Raid leaders have the authority to call a raid if it's just not working, ask someone to leave if they are being abusive, and make judgment calls on anything that pops up that isn't covered here. Their decisions are subject to the review of the council as always.

15) Come prepared! Unless it's been a really really long raid begging and/or not having basic pots for your class isn't going to go over well.
